Christmas Day today! Not that I give a shit. Here are some things I have learnt about Christmas this year:
- Not being part of it/not celebrating it reduces stress at an already stressful time
- Not being able to afford it also adds to its abhorrence
- I am not into consumerism and shopping at all
- I like to work hard to pass the time quicker
- I don't mind the day and the drinking
- Boxing Day night is a bigger celebration than Christmas Eve
- People won't be more gracious to you in public because it's Christmas
- It's just a couple of days out of the year
- It's generally a waste of money
- I prefer the summer
